The problem of functioning of seventh element in A-model is analysed. It is suggested for this purpose to apply approach of the motivational typological settings. It is rotined that this approach on the whole successfully explains distinctions in-process seventh FIM different socionic types, except two: LII and IEI. Hypotheses are pulled out for explanation of these exceptions.
